The LEAD programs are about fostering the social fabric of communities by strengthening the citizens within them, building within them a hope and realization that they can make a difference in their world.  It provides skill building and leadership training for persons interested in increasing their effectiveness at home, at work, and in their community. 

The programs focus on equipping people with interpersonal skills, a deeper understanding of why people behave the way they do, and a “value of persons” mentality.  With those and the technical skills taught in the various classes, participants gain confidence in their abilities and in their power to create and sustain environments conducive to healthy families, productive work environments, well-informed citizens, and stronger cities.
